Hydrogen price in South America in

Hydrogen fueling infrastructure is still in its early stages of development in South America, and the number of hydrogen stations in the region is relatively low compared to other parts of the world. In 2021, there were only a few operational hydrogen stations in South America, located in Brazil and Chile.

In Brazil, the first hydrogen station was inaugurated in 2018 in the city of São Paulo. Since then, a few more stations have been built in the state of São Paulo, and there are plans to build more stations in other parts of the country.

In Chile, the first public hydrogen station was inaugurated in the capital, Santiago, in 2019. This station is part of a larger project that aims to promote the use of hydrogen fuel in transport and energy production.

Other South American countries are also exploring the potential of hydrogen as an alternative fuel source, and plans are being developed for new hydrogen stations in Argentina, Colombia and Peru, among others.
